Mountain Biking Tours through the Rainforest  Join
Dan, our local Mountain Biking champ, on one of his fantastic half or full day
mountain biking tours. For some of the tours, you don't need to be experienced
and you don't need to be super-fit, an average fitness-level is fine.
This is a totally different way of enjoying the beautiful Rainforest areas around
Cairns and is very well suited to nature lovers who want to escape the crowded
mass-tourism areas.
 Tours:
Mulgrave Valley 1/2 day tour: Renown for its crystal clear running streams
and lush jungle. We follow the river to its source, progressing from sealed road
to a bush track.
Discover
a secluded swimming hole (even has a rope swing).
We end the ride at a different type of watering hole - historical Mountain View

Course 1/2 day tour:
Not for the faint-hearted! Retrace the 1996 UCI World Mountain Bike Championship
course, both cross country and downhill. The course weaves through tropical rainforest
and offers 'interesting' challenges. This course was previously utilised for two
rounds of the Grundig World Cup Series.

How
fit?
½ fit for ½ day and average fitness for full day.
Average is anybody who plays regular sport or exercises 3 times a week.
Minimum
age is 12 years and must be in good health and able to ride a bike.
