White Water RaftingGrade: 2 - 3, Easy to moderate (No experience necessary - minimal swimming ability required)
Departs: 13.30 - 18.00 daily (seasonal departures)

A fantastic introduction to white water rafting!

The Barron River rapids are technical but easy, with enough excitement to provide action for up to three hours - the first series of Grade 2 rapids allow you ample warm-up time before the Grade 3 "Rooster Tail" rapid. Our guides on the Barron River are aware that, for most, this is their first experience at white water rafting, so do not be afraid to ask questions.

This is an ideal half day tour only 20 minutes drive north of Cairns. The Barron River Gorge is one of the many natural beauties in this region.

  • AU$ 28 per person land management charge has to be paid to the operator on the day
