Every
dive will be a new experience
MV FeBrina is managed by Walindi Plantation in West New
Britain and run by an extremely professional and experienced
team, made up of ex-pats and locals. Together, they will
find you the best dive spots for the day, so going on FeBrina
is never a wrong decision.
Dive Sites
FeBrina's cruises offers the unique combination of Walindi's
outstanding coral reef dives in Kimbe Bay with the excitement
of diving in the deep clear waters of the Witu Islands and
Fathers Reef further offshore where big pelagics are the
center of interest. On its Kavieng routes you experience
the countless reefs, fantastic channels, drop-offs and WWII
wrecks.

Vessel
The 22m long M.V. FeBrina is fully air conditioned and
accommodates guests in nice double cabins with all the luxuries
needed for extended dive trips. A maximum of 12 divers is
on board. Febrina has 2 cabins which are offered as single
cabins.
An extensive refit has made FeBrina even more comfortable
with a whole new interior outlook. An additional deck accommodates
the crew above the main deck. Some of the new guest rooms
feature ensuite heads and showers.
There is no sun deck with deck chairs, but there is a comfortable
sitting area on the dive deck. Also, for those who love
to sit in the sun, there is the bow for this activity. Febrina's
main feature is the fantastic dive deck, which is ideal
for photographers.
The new camera table been added to the spacious back deck
area allows for convenient handling of that precious equipment.
Most diving is from FeBrina's spacious dive deck, with easy
access via the water level dive platform.

Itinerary
Like most live-aboards in PNG no set itinerary allows
to select dive sites subject to weather and water conditions
to give you the best possible dive experience at the time.
Cruises go from 7 to 14 days. The daily routine allows up
to 5 to 4 dives a day with an early morning dive, a late
morning dive an after lunch dive, an afternoon dive and
a night dive.
Walindi Itineraries:
For
most of the year, Febrina operates 7-10 night trips out
of the Walindi Plantation Resort.
In addition to some of the Kimbe Bay dive sites near Walindi,
the FeBrina also visits areas of the Bismark Sea
such as the Witu Islands to the north west of Kimbe Bay
and Fathers Reefs to the north east.
Kimbe/New Britain
Kavieng
Itineraries:
For a few months of the year, Febrina bases herself in the
Kavieng region of New Ireland.
This
region offers divers a huge variety of marine life. There
are fantastic pristine coral gardens, sponges, many different
species of nudibranchs and tropical fish. There is spectacular
pelagic activity in the channels that seperate the island
groups and this offers adventure diving at its very best
!There are five different species of dolphins in the Kavieng
region alone. Kavieng/New
Ireland
Walindi/Kavieng
or Kavieng/Walindi Itineraries:
These
extended itineraries offer divers the opportunity to enjoy
the very best of both regions and at some of the most remote
and pristine dive sites to be found anywhere in the world.
